Sharon Avery | Nursery Manager
Having previously worked and qualified as a chef and also becoming a Mother, Sharon decided on a career change and joined the Millwood House family in 2015 as a Level 2 Nursery Nurse. After becoming Room Leader in 2017, Sharon went on to complete her Level 3 in 2018. Sharon’s creativity never ceases to amaze us; from devising activities inside the Nursery, to the beautiful Christmas, Easter and Jubilee fence displays outside.

Tina Evans | Deputy Manager & Ladybird Room Leader
Tina joined Millwood House Nursery in 2007, bringing with her years of experience from another respected nursery group. Her passion for working with children quickly grew, and in 2017 she achieved her Level 3 Childcare qualification.
Tina is a valued member of the team, known for her creativity and enthusiasm. She regularly introduces exciting and imaginative activities in the Butterfly (Pre-School) Room and has also made a wonderfully positive impact in our Under 2 Suite, supporting the youngest children with warmth, care, and engaging sensory experiences.

Our senior staff are qualified with NVQ Level 3 in Childcare. They also have a combined total of more than 50 years experience at Millwood House. We encourage our Practitioners to continue to refresh their training and knowledge on an on-going basis. We arrange regular in-house training courses, day release to attend courses and also time to refresh knowledge online with Educare.
Grace | Level 3, Caterpillar Room, Room Leader
Grace has Joined Millwood House as a qualified Level 3 and after showing us her leadership skills has been promoted to Caterpillar Class Room Leader. Grace is a mother of 2 and shares her own parental experiences with the team and families of Millwood House showing empathy and nurturing in her every day practice. Welcome to the team.

David | Level 3, Butterfly Room Leader
David attained his Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2007 and became a Room Leader at his previous Nursery in 2014. After many years at his old Nursery, David decided that it was time to seek a new challenge, and we were lucky enough that he chose us. A highly experienced Room Leader, David also has a special interest and experience with SEN, a role he will develop further at Millwood House Nursery.

Morgan K | Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Morgan joined us already qualified as a Level 2 Childcare Practitioner. She is currently studying for her Level 3 Childcare Practitioner qualification. Morgan is happy to assist with the care of all age groups and has built strong relationships with parents as well as children.

Alyssa | Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
Alyssa has joined us a qualified level 2. Alyssa gained her qualification from Canada before she moved to the UK. Alyssa has some lovely information to share with the older children about her previous home along with her high energy levels she is a fantastic member of our team.

Sabreena | Level 3 Apprentice Childcare Practitioner
Sabreena joined Millwood House in October 2023 as a childcare apprentice. Sabreena has experience babysitting and decided to pursue a career in childcare. We are looking forward to mentoring and supporting her through her studies.

Aleisha | Level 2 Childcare Practitioner
Aleisha Joined the team in August 2023 as a Childcare practitioner and has been finding her confidence in the baby room. Aleisha is fun loving and very caring towards the children. We are excited to mentor and support her through her studies.

Sadaf | Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Sadaf has joined Millwood House as a qualified level 2 practitioner and would like to complete her level 3, which we are very happy to assist with. Sadaf will work alongside our room leaders to provide quality care for the children.

Morgan joined Millwood House Nursery in October 2024 and has quickly become a valued member of our team. She holds a Level 2 Childcare qualification and is currently working towards her Level 3, demonstrating great commitment to her professional development and passion for early years education.
Morgan brings warmth, energy, and a gentle approach to her work with the children, creating a nurturing and engaging environment every day.

Laiba | Apprentice Childcare Practitioner
Laiba joined us in May 2024 as a Childcare Apprentice. She is warm and caring and a natural with the children. We cannot wait to mentor and support her through her studies.

Amna | Childcare Assistant
Amna has been working at Millwood House Nursery since March 2022. Prior to this, she worked for 7 years with SEN children within a school environment and raised her own children who are now grown up. This prior experience has proved invaluable throughout our Nursery.

Passionate about nutrition and seasonal ingredients, she prepares balanced, home-cooked meals every day that children love. From comforting classics to fun, healthy twists, Jane’s food helps fuel little minds and bodies, always with a smile.
