Coronation Garden Party 2023

On 5 May 2023 we all celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III in style with a Garden Party. After a worryingly horrible week of wet weather, we were blessed with a glorious afternoon for our children, their families and our "royal" guest!

Last month Millwood House hosted a Mother's Day Bake Off to raise money for Comic Relief. Our Celebrity Judges, Johnny and Diane Ball, had a monumental task whittling down all entries in the 3 categories to choose our worthy winners: Children's Winner - Zoravar Virk Parent's Winner - Nadya Sloan Staff's Winner - Tina Evans It was wonderful to see so many of our Families come and join us and raise a fantastic total of £250.00!

Forestry Friday Children are to spend as much time as possible outside (we have all in one waterproof suits). Young children have freedom outside, they can build their confidence and independence and also learn about the natural environment.

The week topic was Pirates - The children joined in with all activities we did, Coin rubbing, boats in water, finding numbers in the sand, gold coin biscuits and more.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea
