On 5 May 2023 we all celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III in style with a Garden Party. After a worryingly horrible week of wet weather, we were blessed with a glorious afternoon for our children, their families and our "royal" guest!

Birds

This month the children have been learning about bird. Activities we did: Hand painting to make birds. Chocolate nest (Cooking) Bird watching. Bird Spotting. *Bird playdough mats and lots more fun activities which, the children really enjoyed.

The week topic was Pirates - The children joined in with all activities we did, Coin rubbing, boats in water, finding numbers in the sand, gold coin biscuits and more.
The Tiger Who Came to Tea

This week topic was on the story ( The Tiger Who Came to Tea) The children really enjoyed doing tiger activities thought out the day, they also really enjoyed the afternoon tea when the tiger came to nursery.
Circus Week

The children really enjoyed Circus week we did loads of different activities - Plate spinning, juggling, hula hoop, walk the tight rope, stilt walking, coconut shy, face painting, cooking clown pizzas, dressing up, pin the nose on the clown and many more.
Bastille Week

The French National Day anniversary of storming of the Bastille on 14th July 1789. Children took part in different activities this week to celebrated Bastille. Activities - Sorting red,blue and white cubes on tray, Making Eiffel towel pictures, making flags and making cheese straws.
Teddy Bear Week
